Dr. Tallapally Swamy

Head - Research & Development

Tallapally Swamy is an accomplished chemist with over 20 years of experience in organic and medicinal chemistry, specializing in the synthesis of chemical compounds on both milligram and kilogram scales. He has led multiple teams of chemists and managed various projects from conception to execution. Swamy's expertise includes new chemical entity (NCE) synthesis, route scouting, and process optimization with a focus on cost, safety, and yield.

Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles in prominent organizations, such as Kimia Biosciences Ltd., Keminntek Laboratories, and Escientia Advanced Sciences Pvt. Ltd., and has contributed to significant advancements in medicinal chemistry. Swamy holds a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology and has completed postdoctoral research in the U.S. His extensive industrial and research experience is complemented by his numerous publications in international journals and contributions to cutting-edge research in the field of organic chemistry.
